Elaine A. Bromley, 75, of Ellicottville, NY died Sunday, September 21, 2025 at home following a short illness.

Born December 12, 1949 in Springville, NY, she was the daughter of the late Albert Mitchell and Helen Lucille Hosey Frank. She was married to Robert Bromley who predeceased her in 2015.

She was a graduate of Ellicottville High School, Class of 1968 and earned her Associate’s Degree from Alfred State College.

Mrs. Bromley had been employed as a paralegal with Brady & Swenson, Salamanca, NY for over 25 years.

She enjoyed camping.

Surviving are: two sons, Nicholas (Rachel) Alexander, Travis (Kristi) Alexander, both of Little Valley, NY; a stepdaughter, Bobbi Jo (Gerard) Matthew, Easton, PA; four grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; a brother, Rod (Denise) Mitchell, Ellicottville, NY; several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by a brother, Daniel Mitchell.

There will be no visitation.

A private graveside service was held in Sunset Hill Cemetery, Ellicottville, NY.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the O’Rourke & O’Rourke Inc. Funeral Home, 25 River Street, Salamanca, New York.
