KANE, PA – Opening the 2025 campaign on the road, the Smethport football team fell to Kane, 34-8.
Smethport was unable to find an answer to the Wolves’ ground game, which produced 301 rushing yards. The Hubbers’ offense was led by Mason Swanson at quarterback, who started his sophomore season with 169 yards through the air on 7-for-12 completed passes. On the ground, Smethport finished with 118 yards. On defense, Zach Hungiville collected nine solo tackles and six assisted while Aidan Tanner contributed three solo and six assisted tackles.
