BRADFORD — The official rosters for the Ninth Annual NY/PA Corporate Cup Soccer Showcase have been announced.
This year’s event, to be held at the University of Pittsburgh at Bradford on July 27th will follow the same format as previous years with Gold and Silver teams for New York and Pennsylvania set to square off against their respective interstate squads.
The Showcase will kick off with the Boys Silver match at 12 p.m. followed by the Girls Silver match at 2:30 p.m., the Boys Gold match at 5 p.m. and the Girls Gold match at 7:30 p.m.
— Allegany-Limestone’s Cooper Wilczewski, Donovan Booker, Luke Griffin, Zander Parsons, Thomas Buffamante and Gian Parry along with Portville’s Colin German all earned spots on the New York Boys Gold team. A-L’s Griffin also earned a captaincy role.
Bradford’s Landon Lohrman earned a place on the Pennsylvania Boys Gold team as well.
— On the New York Girls Gold team, Natalie Reynolds, Emma Rhinehart, Emily Collins and Grace Gariepy earned spots from Portville. Caitlyn Kellogg, Madison Honeck, Kennedy Honeck, Addie Fisher, Abby Peck and Chloe Baker earned spots from Allegany-Limestone. And Summer Downey earned a spot from Salamanca. Portville’s Reynolds received a captain armband for the game as well.
Mady Stark, Jaydon Hogue, Alyssa Mangold and Kierstin Taylor from Bradford all earned spots on the Pennsylvania Girls Gold Team.
— Allegany-Limestone’s Kaleb Reed and Salamanca’s Mason Brewer earned spots on the New York Boys Silver team. Bradford’s Lucas Hinchman earned a spot on the Pennsylvania Boys Silver team.
— Portville’s Nazara DeGolier, Allison Bray, Ella Zeigler, Lauren Lyle, Ariana Whittaker and Peyton Rogers earned spots on the New York Girls Silver team. Olean’s Megan Morgan
Leea Kopp, Mallory Carter and Lilah Armstrong along with A-L’s Mackenzie Rhodes and Salamanca’s Arleigh Chudy also earned spots on the Silver team. Portville’s Zeigler is set to be one of three captains for the team.
— Allegany-Limestone and Portville boys soccer coaches Jon Luce and J.J. McIntosh will serve as assistant coaches for the New York Boys Gold and Silver teams. Bradford’s Peter Butler will do the same for the Pennsylvania Boys Gold and Silver teams.
— Portville and Salamanca girls soccer coaches Mike Matz and Kersten Furlong will serve as assistant coaches for the New York Girls Gold and Silver teams as well.
