Allegany, NY Sandra A. “Sandy” A. Rehler, 89, passed away Thursday (April 17, 2025) at The Pines Health and Rehabilitation Center in Olean.

Born September 23, 1935 in Olean, she was the daughter of Charles and Margaret Carls Rehler. Sandy leaves behind 2 daughters, Marilyn Moran of Allegany, and Nancy Havens of Youngsville, NC; 6 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; 2 brothers, Charles M. (Barbara) Rehler of Mt. Dora, FL, and Peter (Virginia) Rehler of Allegany; a sister Susan (Robert) Bubbs of Port Orange, FL, and several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her parents, and a sister and brother-in-law, Donna and Arnold Naglehout. It was Sandy’s wishes that there be no visitation or services.

Her cremated remains will be buried next to her parents in St. Bonaventure Cemetery. The family wishes to thank the staff at The Pines for the tender care given to Sandy over the last 2 years she resided there.

Memorials may be made to the Cattaraugus County SPCA, 1644 Olean-Hinsdale Rd., Olean, NY 14760, or to the American Cancer Society. Arrangements are with the Casey, Halwig & Hartle Funeral Home, Olea
