Allegany-Limestone’s Nolder, Olean’s Lozynska Claim Firsts at Section 6 State Qualifier

ALDEN, NY — Allegany-Limestone’s Joshua Nolder and Olean’s Viktoriia Lozynska took home firsts from the Section VI State Qualifier held in Alden Friday and Saturday. 

Nolder took first in the High Jump with a height of 6′, 0.5″ and also recorded second place finishes in Long Jump (19’7.5″) and the Pentathlon (2956). He finished third in the 110 Hurdles (17.15) also. 

Also taking home a Top 5 finish for A-L was the Girls’ 4×800 relay team (5th place with a time of 10:16.41).

Lozynska claimed first place in Shot Put with a distance of 30′, 9.75″. She also finished third in the Pentathlon (2304) and the High Jump (4’9″) and was 5th in the 800 Meter Run (2:53.87). 

In Boys’ action for Olean, Blake Kinniard finished 5th in Pole Vault (12’3″). 

For Portville, Julia Wyant finished second in the 200 Meter Dash (:26.01) and the 4 x 400 Relay Team also took second place (4:04.62). Aryanna Hatch finished 4th in the 400 Meter Hurdles (1:07.95) and Jenna Wyant took home a 5th place in the 400 Meter Dash (59.62). 

For Salamanca, Ryanna Brady finished 4th in the 2000 Meter Steeplechase (7:46.14) and Jamila Nelthrope finished 5th in the 100 Meter Dash (13.07). 

Michaelynn Lecceradone took home 4th place finishes in the 100 Meter Hurdles (17.68) and the Long Jump (15’4.75″).
