July 30, 1960 – March 22, 2025

Ellicottville – Teresa A. Wagner, 64, of Ellicottville, passed away March 22, 2025 at Buffalo General. She was born on July 30, 1960 in Salamanca, daughter of the late Roger and Patricia (Loveless) Mercer.

Teresa was always known as a friendly face in Ellicottville, whether through her many years of restaurant service at Carson’s, The Gin Mill, Hoagie’s, Dina’s, The Depot, or The Barn, she seemed to have worked everywhere in Ellicottville at a time. Teresa also spent time writing articles for the Eville Events newsletter. She was a beloved character remembered for her humor, quips, and welcoming personality. She loved to cook and always had room at her table for others as she enjoyed hosting as well. She would eventually turn her love for animals into a career, as she operated Rover Makeovers in Ellicottville, for many years. Teresa was also a member of Holy Name of Mary RC Church.

Teresa is survived by a daughter, Calla (Nick Grainer) Wagner of Little Valley, as well as her beloved dog, Timmy. Also surviving are several cousins, family members, and friends.

Besides her parents, Teresa is predeceased by her brother, Thomas Mercer.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date to be announced at the convenience of the family.

Memorials may be made to EARS.

Arrangements are under the direction of Mentley Funeral Home Inc., 411 Rock City St. in Little Valley.

Online condolences may be made at www.mentleyfuneralhome.com.
