Michael W. Ficek, 51, of Little Valley, NY, died Monday, October 26, 2026, following a battle with cancer.
Born February 18, 1975, in Olean, NY, he was the son of the late Adelbert W. “Skip” Ficek and Judith Kosinski Mattson.
He was a graduate of Salamanca High School, Class of 1993.
Mike had recently been employed as a salesperson with Lowes in Hamburg, NY.
He enjoyed the Buffalo Bills, New York Yankees, gambling, spending time with his dog Gracie, and carpentry. Mike also enjoyed spending time with his family.
Surviving are: his wife, Michelle Naar, S.C., two daughters, Harley Ficek and Drew Ficek, both of Salamanca, NY.; two sisters, Candice (Gary) Walton, Salamanca, NY, Theresa Pearl, Olean, NY; several nieces and nephews, and his dog, Gracie.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the O’Rourke & O’Rourke Inc Funeral Home, 25 River St. Salamanca, NY.
A celebration of life will be held at the convenience of the family and will be announced at a later date.
