THURSDAY ROUNDUP: Panthers bow out Section VI title race; Salamanca bowling beats Silver Creek/Forestville

WILSON, NY – Despite improving on last year’s postseason watermark, the Portville boy’s basketball team’s Section VI title run ended in the Class C quarterfinals as they fell to Wilson 73-51. 

Two Panthers ended in double-digit scoring figures, with Aidan DeFazio leading the way with 15 points and Eli Truman following closely behind with 10. Zach Green ended with nine while Payton Carter finished with eight.
