Harold W. Printup, 62, of Lafayette, NY died Friday evening, February 6, 2026 surrounded by his family following a long illness.
Born March 16, 1963 in Syracuse, NY, he was the son of the late Edward and Vivian Dowdy Printup. He was married in Dewitt, NY on July 2, 1988 to the former Theresa Latocha, who survives.
He was a graduate of Lafayette High School, Class of 1982 and attended Oswego State College.
He had worked for several companies in road construction for over 20 years.
Harold enjoyed spending time with his family, especially watching his sons play lacrosse.
Surviving besides his wife are: two sons, Derek (Sarah) Printup, Timothy Printup; a nephew, Jordan (Kirstin) Clear, Fayetteville, NY; a granddaughter, Hailey Printup, all of Lafayette, NY; two sisters, Connie (Gort) Jimerson, Steamburg, NY, Joanne (Charles) Spruce, Salamanca, NY; three brothers, Robert Cooper, Salamanca, NY, Edward (Nancy) Printup, Jimersontown, NY, Craig Printup, Salamanca, NY; several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by a brother, Wilson “Champ” Cooper.
Friends may call at the family home, 3586 Hiller Road, Jimersontown, NY beginning Monday after 2p.m. and continuing all day Tuesday.
Funeral services will be held at the family home on Wednesday at 10 a.m. with Speakers of the Coldspring Longhouse officiating.
Burial will be in Hillside Haven Cemetery, Steamburg, NY.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the O’Rourke & O’Rourke Inc Funeral Home, 25 River Street, Salamanca, NY.
