Salamanca’s Tennity named first-ever BWLO Player Character Award recipient

SALAMANCA — On June 10, Salamanca girls lacrosse player Mikaela Tennity was named the first-ever recipient of the Buffalo Women’s Lacrosse Officials Association (BWLO) 2025 Player Character Award.

The award recognizes a player who exemplifies outstanding character, sportsmanship, leadership and dedication to the game of lacrosse.

“We consider this award as our gratitude for your sportsmanship-filled playing time and honoring the true meaning of the game of lacrosse,” a post from the BWLO stated.
