Arlette Hubbard, 71, of Salamanca, NY, formerly of Olean, NY died Tuesday evening, November 26, 2024 at Salamanca Nursing & Rehab following a long illness.
Born December 31, 1952 in Mansfield, NY, she was the daughter of the late Francis and Bernice Burt Hubbard.
She was a graduate of Salamanca High School, Class of 1970.
Arlette had been employed in the housekeeping department of the former Salamanca Nursing Home.
She enjoyed painting and crafts and going to Sprague’s with her family. She collected stuffed animal cats and snowmen, and will be remembered for her love of Hallmark movies. She was an avid Buffalo Bills and Pittsburgh Steelers fan.
Surviving are: three brothers, Dennis Sr. (Lee) Hubbard, Bradford, PA, William (Amber) Hubbard, Kissimmee, FL, James Hubbard, Scottsdale, AZ; several aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.
She was predeceased by three brothers, Timothy Hubbard, Thomas Hubbard, Kenneth Hubbard, and three sisters, Patricia Reed, Judith Connell, and Debbie Shepherd.
There will be no visitation.
A private graveside memorial service will be held in Green Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be made to EARS, P.O. Box 445, Salamanca, NY 14779.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the O’Rourke & O’Rourke Inc Funeral Home, 25 River Street, Salamanca, NY.
