Kevin D. Parker Obituary

Conewango Valley, N.Y.

Kevin D. Parker, 61, of North Route 62, Conewango Valley, Town of Ellington, passed away Saturday (October 26, 2024) at home with his family at his side, while under the care of hospice.

He was born June 1, 1963 in Jamestown, the son of Timothy J. and Barbara A. (Walters) Parker of Conewango Valley.

Kevin was a graduate of Randolph Central School Prior to his illness in 2010, he had been the Plant Welding Foreman for Industrial Welding in Celoron, NY. Earlier on he had worked for Hopes Architectural Products in Jamestown and Freight Liner in North Carolina.

His hobbies and interests were, first and foremost, his grandchildren and spending time with them, hunting, fishing, demolition derby and tractor pulls, camping and watching the Buffalo Bills and as a young man, the Miami Dolphins and Dan Marino.

Kevin is survived by his parents, Tim and Barb, his wife; Joy B. (Paver) Parker, a sister; Katie (Richard) Moffit of Leon, two daughters; Katie (Taylor) of Great Valley and Krissy (Derek) of Clymer, a son; Chad Shelters of Conewango Valley and 6 grandchildren; Hunter, Gunner, Kinsley, Kohen, Corbyn and Zoey.

He was preceded in death by a grandchild; Carlee.

As per Kevin’s wishes, there will be no visitation held. A Celebration of Life is being planned and will be announced later.
