JoAnne A. Bigley, 71, of Bradford, passed away on Wednesday, November 6, 2024 at the Pavilion at BRMC.

She was born on August 5, 1953 in Bradford, a daughter of the late Robert and Bertha Hassek Starkweather.

She was a 1971 graduate of the Bradford Area High School.

She was employed by the former Bradford Electronics for close to thirty years.  After they closed the Bradford location, she went on to work for the Zippo Manufacturing Co., for fifteen years; retiring in 2021.

She loved spending time with her family; especially her grandchildren.

She is survived by three sons, Larry (Tammy) Bigley of Ephrata, Corey Bigley of Youngstown and Gary Bigley of Bradford; two sisters, Mary Hassek of Manning, SC and Jeanne (Tim) Haynes of Rew; five grandchildren, Jared Bigley of Ephrata, Fayth Bigley of Asheville, NC, Cameron Bigley of Ephrata, Zoey Bier of Youngstown and Riley Bigley of Ephrata, several loved ones including, Jodi Meabon, Jacki Carinci and Jace Meabon and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents; she was also preceded in death by her longtime companion, Jay Meabon and one brother.

Private graveside services will be held at the convenience of the family.

Burial will be in Willow Dale Cemetery.

Memorial contributions in her memory can be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.

Funeral arrangements are entrusted to the care of the Mascho Funeral Home, Inc.
