Langworthy, Borrello, Sempolinski and Butler are guests of ‘Right Thinkers’ on Monday

ALLEGANY — Three of Cattaraugus County’s top Republican state and federal elected officials and Sheriff Eric Butler are scheduled to appear at Monday night’s Right Thinkers meeting to discuss socialism.

U.S. Rep. Nick Langworthy, State Sen. George Borrello and Assemblyman Joe Sempolinski will join the sheriff on the panel moderated by Right Thinkers’ cofounder  Nate Smith.

The topic of the presentation is “Your Vote CAN stop Socialism,” according to Connie Wolfinger, the conservative Right Thinkers other cofounder.

The Right Thinkers meet monthly at The Hall, 40 N. Fourth St., at the rear of the old school starting at 5 p.m.

The “meeting” begins at 6 o’clock with a prayer, the Pledge of Allegiance, and a patriotic song sung by Dr. John Miller. 

The four panelists will then respond to a series of questions posed by Smith that they’ve received earlier. Each panelist will have three minutes for their responses.

There is no cost to attend the Right Thinkers events – but our “donation jug” has helped to cover our rent, complimentary pizza, water bottles and supplies.
