DUKE CENTER, PA – Returning to the Terror Dome for the final time this season, the Otto-Eldred volleyball team recognized their prolific senior leadership before swiftly dispatching Oswayo Valley in three sets.

Ahead of their rematch with the Lady Green Wave, O-E pulled their seniors to center stage. Honored on the night was Rayel Hakes, Ayla Van Scoter, Emma Button, Bailee Olmstead, Jenna Prescott, Brooklyn Pearce and team manager Gabby Long.

After the procession and celebration, the Lady Terrors then turned their attention to OV. O-E opened with a decisive first set win at 25-23 before cruising to a 25-12 second victory to prime a clean sheet sweep. Sitting one set away from another North Tier League win, the Lady Terrors ended the night with a 25-19 game-sealing win.

Hakes ended with 14 kills, six blocks and 14 digs while Van Scoter tallied 12 digs and nine kills. Button facilitated the floor with 26 assists to go with her eleven digs, ten kills and three blocks, followed by Jahden Smith with seven digs and six kills.

While they still have three contests left in the regular season, a slate to be played all on the road and starting with Smethport on Wednesday, the Lady Terrors’ eyes are set on the postseason, where they look to make another run into the District 9 Class A bracket.

WILLIAMSON, PA – Kylee Pelchy kept the Lady Gators afloat as they ended deadlocked with Williamson.

Izzy Stiles tallied the assist on the score, while Dana Clark came away with 19 saves while tending the net.

Portville 5, Cuba Rushford/Bolivar 0

PORTVILLE, NY – A four-goal first half carried the Panthers to a shutout win over the Rebels.

Grace Gariepy led the charge with a hat trick, including heading in a beautifully placed corner kick from Lauren Lyle. Alongside Lyle, Anna Faulkner also registered an assist while Airiana Whittaker scored two goals in the win. In goal, Kaylin Elliott came away with one save.

With just two games left, Portville will look to keep their high-octane offense rolling against Jamestown (3-9-1) on Wednesday. However, just before they punch their ticket to the Class C postseason, they will end their regular season campaign against Allegany-Limestone (13-1), a team they narrowly fell to in late September at 3-2. That rematch will take place on Thursday at 4:30 p.m.
