SALAMANCA, NY – Andrew McCormick found the back of the net twice as the Warriors ended their three-game losing skid, beating Pine Valley Gowanda 2-0.
After a deadlocked first half, McCormick finally broke the silence in the 50th minute, punching in his fifth goal of the season off an assist from Darren Hayes. Ten minutes later, he repeated the feat, this time unassisted, before Calum Farnum finished off the night with a score in the 70th minute, also unassisted.
The win moves Salamanca to 5-6 overall and 3-4 in CCAA league play. Next they will head out on the road for a two-game trip, first seeing Portville on Monday at 4:30 p.m. before traveling to visit Cassadaga Valley/Falconer next Friday at 7 p.m.
Eisenhower 3, Port United 1
PORT ALLEGANY, PA – The Gators suffered their ninth loss of the year as they were defeated by the Knights at home.
Kaiden Bartlett scored Port’s lone goal of the afternoon, while Jimmy Sneed recorded 14 saves.
Jamestown 5, Olean 1
OLEAN, NY – Unable to curb an early onslaught, the Huskies were swept in the season series to the Red & Green.
Jamestown built up a massive lead early, scoring two goals in the first nine minutes and adding two more before halftime. While Olean broke the seal with a goal from Connor Hogle in the 64th minute, the Red & Green countered immediately after, bringing their total to five.
The league loss drops Olean to 1-5-1 in CCAA Division I play while they sit 2-6-2 overall.
Allegany-Limestone 1, Southwestern 1, Draw
JAMESTOWN, NY – Seeing the Trojans for the second time this season, the Gators failed to tack on a sequel win, instead ending in a stalemate for their second tie of the year.
A-L now has just four games left on the docket, three of which are league opponents. After a week of rest, they will host Jamestown next Wednesday at 7 p.m.

Otto-Eldred 3, Austin 0
DUKE CENTER, PA – Retaining their spot atop the North Tier League standings, the Lady Terrors swept Austin, beating the Lady Tigers 25-20, 25-18 and 25-11.
Rayel Hakes was undeniable at the net, ending O-E’s tenth straight victory with 13 kills, three blocks and 18 digs. Bailee Olmstead finished with 17 digs next to Ayla Van Scoter’s 15 while Emma Button came away with 24 assists.

Olean 5, Salamanca 0
OLEAN, NY – Seeing the Warriors for the second time this season, the Huskies pulled out a dominant sweep to defend their home court.
In the first singles, Linda Chauhdry took down Betsy Leyva (6-1, 6-3), followed by Natalie Snyder’s win over Kurryn Glowacki in the second singles (6-1, 6-1).
The duet of Rachael Dulmus and Simran Chahal came out with a win over Sage Hugg and Mimi McComber (6-2, 7-5) in the first doubles while Tiana Maine and Molly Burnett beat Fiona McKune and Keira Bova (6-1, 6-3) in the second doubles. Diyanah Manar and Christina Qiu rounded out the night against Morgan Palmer and Ella Crouse (4-6, 6-2, 6-1) in the third doubles.
