East State Street closed between Fulton and Clinton streets due to water line leak; detour in place

Be prepared for a detour along East State Street today (Friday).

Beginning at 6 a.m., East State Street will be closed between Fulton Street and Clinton Street due to repair of a water leak.

A traffic detour will be in place while work is performed.

Westbound traffic will be directed to use Fulton Street to East Henley Street where you can use South Barry Street or South Union Street to travel back to East State Street.

Eastbound traffic will be detoured down South Barry Street to East Henley Street where they can connect to Fulton Street and then access East State Street. 

There will be no on street parking along the detour route while the work is performed.

Motorists are required to use alternate routes while work is being performed.
