CATTARAUGUS, NY – Highlighted by an ace header from Presleigh Jimerson, the Salamanca girl’s soccer team tacked on their third consecutive win as they took down Catt-Little Valley 2-0.
Tracking down a corner kick sent across the face of the net by Ireland Fidurko, Jimerson opened Tuesday’s action in the second half with an acrobatic feat that punched in her third goal of the season. Late in the game, Arleigh Chudy added to the cushion with a shot-and-score off a pass from Myla Galante.
Sitting at 3-1, the Warriors will look to keep their undefeated streak alive on Thursday, when they travel to see Pine Valley/Gowanda at 4:30 p.m.

OLEAN, NY – One day after picking up their second win of the season, the Huskies suffered their second loss, losing handily to the Golden Falcons.
Addison Crosson tallied her __ goal of the season, finding the back of the net with one minute to go in the first half. In net, Alaina Hirliman faced 30 shots on goal, coming away with 24 saves.
Olean will have just one day to lick their wounds before taking back off on the road for a contest against Jamestown on Thursday at 6 p.m.
Allegany-Limestone 1, Southwestern 0, OT
JAMESTOWN, NY – Facing an end to their win streak, the Gators managed to extend it to four thanks to a clutch shot from Leaa Kopp.
Through the initial 80 minutes, neither A-L nor the Trojans could break through the defense, forcing the match to be settled in overtime. In the Gators’ first OT experience, Kopp stepped up, sending in her fifth score of the season off a pass from Kai Wojewoda-Ko, who tallied her third assist.
Tending the Gators’ net was Kenna MacArthur, who faced eight shots in the shutout, while Meagan Morgan stepped in to see and save two shots on goal.
A-L’s next challenger will show up at their front door. On Thursday, Falconer/CV/MG (4-0) will visit the Gators at 4:30 p.m.

Olean 3, Falconer 0
FALCONER, NY – Traveling into hostile territory, the Huskies added a third sweep to their win column, beating the Golden Falcons 25-19, 25-17 and 25-22.
Olean (3-1) will return home on Thursday to host Jamestown at 6:30 p.m.
