Allegany- Randall Lee Cassidy Jr. “Loving Husband, Son & Brother”
Randall L. Cassidy Jr of Rogers Road, Allegany, passed away on Friday, August 14, 2026 after suffering an apparent heart attack while on vacation with his loving wife.
Randall was born September 23, 1978, in Houston, TX and was the son of Randall Lee Cassidy Sr. and Kimberley A. See Cassidy. On August 12, 2023, in Cuba he married Samantha Lee Hoopes who survives.
Randall was a 1999 graduate of Hinsdale Central School. He worked at Holiday Valley for about 20 years, and then Crown Y in Cuba and Pumpkinville during season.
Randall was an avid hunter and fisherman and even received awards for fishing. He was a diehard Miami Dolphins Fan and loved collecting sports cards and non-sports cards.
Along with his loving wife Samantha, Randall is survived by; his parents; a brother, Stephen P. (Catrina) Cassidy of Ischua; 3 nephews, Devyn A. (Lynzee) Cassidy, Kadyn T. (Emily) Cassidy, Hunter M. Cassidy and their families; Several aunts and uncles including his best friend Uncle Bill See and many cousins; his in-laws Lynn Hoopes and John (Carrie) Hoopes; and his pets Loki, Nala and Mocha.
Randall was predeceased by; his grandparents; an uncle, Grant Cassidy Jr.; an aunt, Betsy Smith See and a cousin, Shane Webber his special fishing buddy.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday August 30, 2026, from 1:00pm to 5:00pm at the Ischua Fire Hall, 5634 Main St, Ischua, NY 14743. Charles Magee, Randy’s Uncle will officiate. The family asks to please bring your memories to share. Arrangements are under the direction of the Letro-McIntosh-Spink Funeral Home, Inc., 646 E. State St., Olean.
