THURSDAY ROUNDUP: Halfway Inn, Pink Ladies pick up lopsided wins in OWSL

OLEAN, NY — Allowing just three hits on the night, Halfway Inn scored a 14-0 victory over Bamboo Strategy in the Olean Women’s Softball League.

Brooke DeYoe led the way with three hits, one of which was a home run. Faith Capito (double) and Aliyah Cole also had three hits while Grace Wood (double) tacked on two hits.

Cas Mills, Kimmy Martinelli and Shannon Detweiler each had a hit in the loss.

Pink Ladies 19, Allen’s 3

OLEAN, NY — Elyse Graham’s five-RBI night highlighted Pink Ladies’ big win over Allen’s Wine and Liquor.

Graham went 3-for-3 with a triple on the night. Rachel Vossler (4-for-4, RBI), Amber Kisner (3-for-4, double), Nelly Freeman (3-for-3, RBI), Taylor George (3-for-3, 2 RBI, double), Sam Mott (3-for-3, 2 RBI) and Sheena Tanner (3 for-3, RBI) all contributed in the win as well.

Mikayla Bell, Makenna Manning and Stacy Gonsolus all went 2-for-2 in the loss. Kate Maedl went 1-for-2 with a triple for Allen’s as well.
