The Big 30 has begun unveiling the names of players who have committed to participating in the upcoming 2026 Charities Classic. The following is the eighth full release sent out by the selection committee:
Sean Ward
Bradford Area High School
Height: 6’3″ – Weight: 200 lbs.
Offense: T – Defense: MLB
Sean plans to go straight into the work force. He lists his honors as Scout Team Player of the Year in Football his freshman year, 3-year Letter Winner in Baseball, and 4-year Letter Winner in Football. He wants to play in the Big 30 game because it means so much to him. He loves football with a passion, but for him, unfortunately in his senior year, he got hurt and missed almost his whole year. Now he just wants to be able to go out on his own team. His best memory while playing football was when he had a pick-six in his junior year. Sean lists his hobbies as working on vehicles, hunting, fishing, and hanging out with friends. His favorite football team is the Buffalo Bills, and his favorite player is Josh Allen.
Tage Wyman
Warren Area High School
Height: 6’3″ – Weight: 230 lbs.
Offense: TE – Defense: MLB/DE
Tage plans to attend Jamestown Community College to play baseball and study Mechanical Tech Design. He lists his honors as Lettering twice in Football and Basketball, three times in Baseball, Most Improved Award for Basketball, and lettered in Key Club once. Tage wants to play in the Big 30 game so he can represent his school and community. His Dad played in the 25th Big 30 game. This will give him one last chance to play football with teammates. His best memory while playing football were the bus rides and creating bonds between teammates and friends. He lists his hobbies as fishing, golf, and sports. His favorite football team is the Seattle Seahawks, and his favorite player is Russell Wilson.
Adam Roe
Cuba-Rushford High School
Height: 6’3″ – Weight: 205 lbs.
Offense: TE – Defense: S
Adam plans to attend Saint Bonaventure and major in Finance. He lists his honors as St. Bonaventure Friars Scholarship, Adam C. Elliott Memorial, A.C.E. Tournament MVP, and the Decerbo Memorial Showcase MVP. Adam wants to play in the Big 30 game because he feels it would be a big honor to participate in the game. His best memory while playing football was the team’s comradery. He lists his hobbies as disc golf and hanging out with his friends. Adam’s favorite football team is the Eagles, and his favorite player is Barry Sanders.
My’kel Rivera
Olean High School
Height: 6’3″ – Weight: 195 lbs.
Offense: WR – Defense: LB
My’kel wants to attend college to major in Sports Management and to play basketball. He list his honor as High Honor Roll. My’kel wants to play in the Big 30 game so that he has one more chance to play with some of his teammates one more time. His best memory while playing football was the 97-yard touchdown vs. Albion. My’kel lists his hobbies as playing golf, hanging out with friends, and playing basketball. His favorite football team is the Buffalo Bills, and his favorite player is Odell Beckham, Jr.
Demetrious Valencio Young
Portville Central School
Height: 5’1 0″ – Weight: 185 lbs.
Offense: RB – Defense: DE
Demetrious would like to be a K9 NYS trooper or NYS trooper SWAT. He lists his honors as National Honor Society, NTHS, Big 30 2025, High Honor Roll, and student athlete Weight Room Warrior. He wants to play in the Big 30 game because he wants to have a great time, make friends, and absolutely tear up the field. Demetrious’s best memory while playing football was being thrown and sat on, then dancing in his face. He lists his hobbies as shooting trap, fishing, other sports, and hanging out with friends. His favorite football team is the Buffalo Bills, and his favorite player is Greg (Groot) Rousseau.
Finn Caya
Olean High School
Height: 6’3″ – Weight: 240 lbs.
Offense: RT – Defense: DE
Finn plans to attend the University of Buffalo in the Fall for Mechanical Engineering. He lists his honors as Cross Training Athletics, Heart of a Champion Award, Dennis M. Napolione Award, National Honor Society, High Honor Roll all through high school. Finn wants to play in the Big 30 game so he can have one last chance to play football with all his friends. His best memory while playing football was upsetting Maryvale and how happy our whole team was afterwards. His hobbies are fishing, golfing, hunting, and spending time working on his car. Finn’s favorite football team is the Buffalo Bills, and his favorite player is Gregory Rousseau.
