BRADFORD, PA – After three weeks without a win, the Bradford baseball team finally saw their slump come to an end as they took down Brookville 7-3.

After putting the Rovers out in four at the top of the first, the Owls quickly jumped on to the scoreboard, scoring two runs off an RBI-double from Lucas Wallace and an RBI-single Brody Haviland. Going scoreless for the next two frames, Bradford then bounced back with five runs through the fourth and fifth, putting the finishing touches on their fourth win of the season.

Haviland finished with a game-high three hits during his four trips to the batters’ box, driving in one run and scoring another personally. Tarren Reese tallied two RBIs while Sean Ward came away with one RBI and one run scored during his 1-for-3 day at the plate.

The Owls will look to keep the momentum going as they finish the week with three more games. Next they will see DuBois on Wednesday before seeing Brockway and Warren on Thursday and Friday. All three will be played on Bradford’s home field at 4:30 p.m.
