CATTARAUGUS, NY – Consistent and effective bats carried the Portville baseball team to a second consecutive win as they bested Cattaraugus-Little Valley 14-4 on the road.
Seven Panthers tallied hits during the win, with five recording multiple runs batted in. Payton Carter finished 1-for-2 with three runs scored and two RBIs, followed by Aidan DeFazio with 1-for-3 with two runs and a pair of RBIs as well. Dylan Chudy, Ty Kosinski, and Jo Dieteman all combined for six RBIs and two runs scored as Portville picked up their third win of the season.

SMETHPORT, PA – Continuing their hot streak, the Hubbers added a fourth win in the past five games as they dominated NoPo in five innings.
Cole Burdick finished a perfect 4-for-4 at the plate during the win, powering in five RBIs and scoring twice personally. Aiden Tanner ended 1-for-2 with two runs scored and two more batted in, while Mason Swanson tallied three RBIs and one run during his 2-for-2 day in the batters’ box.

DUKE CENTER, PA – A duel in the circle fell the Lady Gators way as they were able to break through O-E’s defense, earning their fifth win of the season and the series sweep over the Lady Terrors.
Bria Wilcox and Baylee Francis, Port’s and O-E’s respective aces, duked it out through seven full innings in a North Tier League rematch, each recording double-digit Ks as they siphoned off their opponents. However, a late three-run surge in the fifth, which saw a triple from Breah Fillhart, a double from Kendra Ayers and singles from Brynn Evens and Payton Gordon, allowed the Lady Gators to ultimately pull away for good.
Fillhart ended with a team-high three hits and three runs for Port, while Ayers finished with a game-high three RBIs during her 2-for-4 day at the plate. Wilcox ended with 10 strikeouts while in the circle, letting up just three hits through seven innings.
For O-E, Jahden Smith ended 3-for-4 with two runs scored, while Francis came away with one run scored and one RBI. During her time in the circle, Francis also tallied ten Ks while giving up eight hits.

FILLMORE, NY – Ten strikeouts and four RBIs from Ella Warters led the Panthers to fourth consecutive win as they dispatched Fillmore on the road.
Dominating through her time in the circle with double-digit Ks, Warters also ended with a team-high four RBIs during her 1-for-3 day at the plate. The Schoonover sisters, Alexa and Sienna, both ended with two hits a-piece, with Sienna nabbing two RBIs.

EAST AURORA, NY – The Salamanca girls lacrosse team captured a win over East Aurora on the road behind a 17-save performance from Liana Jimerson.
Jorja Miller caused 10 turnovers for the Warriors and on attack Leilene McComber led the way with three goals and two assists, followed by Keira Bova with three goals and one assist.
COLLEGE SOFTBALL
St. Bonaventure 7, Le Moyne 1 (Game 1)
St. Bonaventure 10, Le Moyne 7 (Game 2 – 8 innings)
SYRACUSE, NY – The St. Bonaventure softball team captured a double-header sweep over Le Moyne, snapping a seven-game losing streak.
In game one, the Bonnies held a 2-1 lead late in the game, but tacked on five runs in the top of the seventh to solidify the win. Leading the offense was Kymora Wang, who went 3-for-4 with two RBI, and Sydney DeGram, who went 2-for-3 with three runs and two RBI.
In game two, the Bonnies once again scored five runs in the final inning of play to pick up the win, bouncing back after the Dolphins took a 5-0 lead after the first. Bona tallied 13 hits in the win.
Sydney DeGram (3-for-5, 2 runs), Lauren Dundon (3-for-4, run 3 RBI), Abigail Ahern (2-for-4, 2 runs, 2 RBI), Kymora Wang (2-for-5, 2 runs, 3 RBI) and Nolah Moyer (2-for-5) all had multi-hit performances.
