OLEAN — After 10 years at the helm of the Olean varsity football program, head coach Phil Vecchio announced that he is retiring.
The reigning Big 30 Coach of the Year is stepping down from his position in the program that he had been a part of in some aspect over the last three decades.
In his place this upcoming fall, Terry Burrows will put on the headset.
Burrows has been a part of the school’s football program for the last 15 years, making stops at every level from modified all the way to his position as the defensive coordinator of the varsity team this past season.
The Huskies finished with a 4-5 overall record in 2025 and went 4-3 in Section 6 Class B2.
