Hosting Kane, Owls track and field split Senior Night

BRADFORD, PA – On an afternoon where they recognized their 17 seniors, the Bradford track and field teams came up with a mixed bag against Kane, with the boys sweeping all podiums and the girls seeing a narrow loss.

On the boys’ side of the action, the Owls earned gold in every event, with three coming away with multiple first place finishes. Ewan Bell took gold in both of the long distance sprints, winning the 1,600 meter and 3,200 meter dash while Logan Kohler swept the 110 meter and 300 meter hurdles. Tyler Simmons found spots atop the podium in the 100 meter dash and high jump, while Fabian Sherk won in the long jump and triple jump.

For the girls, they battled with the Lady Wolves but ultimately fell just over seven points shy of a victory. Addie Pilon doubled in the 200 meter and 400 meter dash, while Aliya Corignani took first in both the triple jump and 300 hurdles.

Midway through the day, the Owls paused the meet to recognize their large senior class. Honored at midfield was Kohler, Sherk, Enzo Aiello, Matt DeCasper, Jeremiah Long, Trenton Johnson, Andrew Giordano, Konnor Phillips, Danny Marasco, Marcus Terwilliger, Preston Neel, Anthony McDonald, Forest Davis, Jennifer Bouquin, Madison Vinelli, Joleen Weimer and Addison Carter.
