Lori Johnson, 61, of Salamanca, NY died Monday, March 9, 2026 at Buffalo General Hospital following a short illness.

Born May 22, 1964 in Jamestown, NY, she was the daughter of the late Verona and Betty Sischo Johnson.

She had been employed as a cashier for many years, most recently with Papa’s Place II in Limestone and formerly at Richard’s Smoke Shop, Steamburg, NY.

Lori enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her nieces and nephews, and was referred to by many as “Auntie”. She enjoyed music, and attended many concerts throughout the area. She will be remembered for her big heart and loving personality.

Surviving are: a sister, Susan (James) Cawley, Bradford, PA; two brothers, Bruce (Penny) Johnson, Ellington, NY, Gary (Marla) Johnson, Kennedy, NY; several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by a sister, Darlene Kiendl, and two brothers, Ronald Johnson and David Johnson.

There will be no visitation.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the Coldspring Fire Hall, Steamburg, NY on Saturday, March 21, 2026 from 1 – 5 p.m.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the O’Rourke & O’Rourke Inc Funeral Home, 25 River Street, Salamanca, NY.
