WEDNESDAY ROUNDUP: Bona women’s lacrosse takes care of business at Furman

GREENVILLE, SC — On the road, the St. Bonaventure women’s lacrosse team handled Furman, grabbing a lopsided 15-5 victory.

Brooke Piper, Megan Schillinger and Rylee Gonzalez led the Bonnies, scoring four goals apiece.

Riley Milligan added two goals to the Bona tally and Arianna West found the back of the net as well for the visitors.

The Bonnies, at one time, won 18 consecutive draw controls and finished the day with a 21-1 advantage in the category.

Schillinger finished with 11 draw controls to go along with her four goals. Piper won six draw controls, four groundballs and two caused turnovers. Freshman Riley Milligan recorded three points as well.

Goalie Judy Mahoney made seven saves for a save rate of 58.3%.
