Eva Blanche Mighells, 96, of Bellefonte, PA, formerly of Salamanca, NY, died Saturday morning, February 21, 2026 at Centre Care Rehabilitation in Bellefonte following a long illness.

Born January 3, 1930 in Akron, OH, she was the daughter of the late Vernon and Alva Burnett Ingersoll. She was married to Rev. George Mighells, who predeceased her in 1989.

She had been employed with Parkview Supermarket for many years, and had previously been employed at the former Stardell in Franklinville, NY.

Blanche was a former member of the Jimersontown Presbyterian Church. Blanche enjoyed quilting, sewing, and gardening.

Surviving are: two daughters, Anna (Bobby) Keth, Summervillle, PA, Sarah (Edmond) Hines, Columbia, SC; a son, Dr. Clyde (Beverly) Mighells, Howard, PA; several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by a son, Bryan Mighells, a granddaughter, Karen Mighells, a sister, Beulah (Emerson) Rugh, Schenectady, NY; a brother, Robert Ingersoll and her dear friend, George Barney.

Friends may call at the O’Rourke & O’Rourke Inc Funeral Home, 25 River Street, Salamanca, Ny on Monday, February 23, 2026 from 7 – 9 p.m.

Funeral services will be held in the funeral home on Tuesday at 11 a.m. with Rev. Michael Lonto officiating.

Burial will be in Crawford Cemetery, Salamanca, NY.
