JAMESTOWN, NY — Behind a stellar 37-point, nine-rebound performance from Ryan Callen, the Allegany-Limestone boys basketball team picked up its first win in league play in its regular season finale.
The Gators had gone the entire campaign without a win in league play, but on the very last day of their regular season calendar, they went on the road to Southwestern notched a 70-66 victory. Notably, behind some stellar shooting from the free throw line.
Of Callen’s 37 points, 10 were free throws. Eight of Greg Peck’s 12 points and four of Nolan O’Brien’s 11 points came from the charity stripe as well. Peck and O’Brien also both tallied seven rebounds.
Tayden Margeson filled the stat sheet with five points, three assists and three steals in the win too.
Roger Markham led the Trojans with 22 points.

CUBA, NY — Closing out their regular season on the road, the Panthers end their campaign with a loss to the Rebels.
Aidan DeFazio led Portville with 14 points, followed by Payton Carter with 12.
Suffering their third consecutive loss at the tail end of their season, the Panthers now fall to 6-13 as they await the Section VI seedings.

Olean 51, Williamsville East 49
WILLIAMSVILLE EAST, NY — Connor Hogle’s game-high 18 points paced the Olean boys basketball team in its road win over Williamsville East, but it was the combined effort by the rest of the team that gave the Huskies the slight edge in their win.
Shane Hardy and Brady Konst both had 18-point games for the Flames, but only two players scored outside of the duo.
Meanwhile, the Huskies had four different scorers in a third quarter in which they took the lead that they eventually carried over the finish line.
Dominik Myers also finished in double figures for Olean netting 14 points with nine coming from beyond the 3-point arc.
