Olean Oilers travel to face Jamestown for first game of PGCBL era

NEW HARTFORD, NY — The official schedule for the 2026 Perfect Game Collegiate Baseball League (PGCBL) season has been released and for its first game in its new league, the Olean Oilers will travel to face the Jamestown Tarp Skunks on Friday, May 29.

The Oilers, under first-year manager Mike Threehouse will host its first PGCBL game the next day (May 30) against the Tarp Skunks.

According to a release from the PGCBL, “The 2026 PGCBL regular season concludes on Sunday, July 26th. The next day, the semi-finals round will be played, with each division playing a game between the top seed and the #4 seed, and a game between the #2 and #3 seeds. The winners advance to the Division finals, a one-game playoff on Tuesday, July 28th. The Division champions will play a best-of-three series between Wednesday, July 29th and Friday, July 30th to determine the league champion, with locations and dates to be finalized for the championship series by participating teams and the league office.”
