Carol A. Wiltsie, 76, of Salamanca, NY died Tuesday morning, January 27, 2026, at Olean General Hospital.

Born October 2, 1949, in Salamanca, NY, she was the daughter of the late Orland Pierce and Geraldine Biscup Pierce Courteau. She was married December 31, 1975, in Salamanca, NY to David Wiltsie, who predeceased her in 1999.

She had been employed as a cleaner with the Salamanca Central School District and had worked at various factories in the area.

Carol enjoyed spending time with her family, joking around and especially spoiling her grandchildren. She also loved to do crafts and go shopping.

Surviving are: a daughter, Danielle Wiltsie, Salamanca, NY; three grandchildren, Haley Armstrong, Jamestown, NY, Jesse Armstrong Jr., Ayden Armstrong, both of Salamanca, NY; a great-grandchild; a brother, Lawrence (Nancy) Pierce, Salamanca, NY; several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by two great-grandchildren, Roman Delity and Oakleigh Delity.

There will be no visitation.

A memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family.

Burial will be in Crawford Cemetery, Salamanca, NY.

Funeral arrangements and under the direction of the O’Rourke & O’Rourke Inc Funeral Home, 25 River Street, Salamanca, NY.
