DUNKIRK, NY — On Jan. 17, the Salamanca girls wrestling team competed in the Dunkirk Girls Individual Tournament and walked away with several match wins and individual place finishes.
Arianna Acosta, Emma Domres and Madison Mohr led the Warriors, each having claimed first place finishes.
Domres recorded six wins on the day, with four falls, while Mohr won four matches all via pin en route to first place.
Brenda Bova-Redeye picked up four wins at the tournament with four falls and took home a third place finish. Mya Woods collected three wins, which was good for fourth place.
Ella Martens and Fiona McKune each took home a sixth place finish, with the latter earning her first varsity win.
