CLARION, PA – Knocking down 11 of their 16 shots from long range, the Otto-Eldred boy’s basketball team emerged from the District 9 Showcase victorious, taking down Clarion-Limestone 54-45.

Despite the over two hours of travel time it took to reach PennWest Clarion University, the Terrors hopped off the bus ready to go, especially Mason Rees. After hitting nine 3-pointers in the past two games combined, Rees continued to ride his hot hand against C-L, connecting on three in the first quarter as O-E quickly amassed a 21-8 advantage. Coasting on their big lead through the first half, the Terrors then doubled-down in the second. Jack Sherry got the greenlight, hitting four of his five 3-pointers in the third and fourth quarters as O-E’s red hot offense carried them over the finish line.

Sherry posted yet another double-double, coming away with a game-high 23 points alongside 10 rebounds and six steals. Rees finished with 14 points and three steals while Wyatt Blendinger ended with eight points.
