MAYVILLE, NY — Despite leading at halftime, the Warriors were unable to contain Chautauqua Lake as they suffered their third loss in the past four games by a score of 28-25.
Holding a 13-7 advantage after the first two quarters, Salamanca saw a scoreless third. Meanwhile, CL/W/B poured on back-to-back touchdowns and one more in the fourth. While Salamanca reached the endzone in the same frame, they were unable to overcome the deficit.
The Warriors end the season at 5-4 overall and now await playoff seeding.
Catt Little Valley 30, Allegany-Limestone/Hinsdale 8
CATTARAUGUS, NY — Three quarters without a touchdown handed the Gators their eighth consecutive loss as they watched CLV pack their side of the scoreboard.
A-L finishes the season at 0-8.
Smethport 28, Cameron County 12
SMETHPORT, PA — Finding two scores in the second and two more in the fourth, the Hubbers ended their regular season with the second of back-to-back wins as they defended their home field one last time.
Following a scoreless first quarter, Jonah Ganoe put Smethport on the board with a 30-yard rush into the endzone, then also converting the 2-point conversion. Switching to the air, Mason Swanson then found Aidan Tanner for a 21-yard reception to put the Hubbers up 14-0.
Although the Red Raiders owned the third quarter, scoring twice themselves, Smethport responded with a big fourth quarter. Storming down the field, Jude Kisko punched in the Hubbers’ third touchdown on a one-yard carry, followed by Ganoe’s 11-yard score later in the quarter, sealing Smethport’s fourth win of the season.
Ganoe broke the 200-rushing-yard mark once again, ending with 226 and two touchdowns.
Ridgway/Johnsonburg 52, Otto-Eldred 16
DUKE CENTER, PA — Suffering their fourth straight loss, the Terrors fell to 2-8 as their season came to an end.
Wyatt Blendiger reached the endzone for O-E on a pick-six return while Dawson Welch found Leelyn Welch late for a touchdown pass.
Kane 42, Bradford 6
KANE, PA — The Owls concluded their 2025 campaign with a blowout loss to the Wolves.
Bradford’s lone touchdown of the night came from a touchdown pass from Andrew Giordano to Braylon Austin. Jacob Abers and Max Gow both had interceptions.
Ending the season with eight straight losses, the Owls finished at 1-9.

Allegany-Limestone 3, Ellicottville/Franklinville 0 – Class C Second Round
ALLEGANY, NY — With a shutout of No. 7 seed Ellicottville/Franklinville, the No. 2 seed Allegany-limestone boys soccer team secured themselves a spot in the Section 6 Class C Semifinals.
Portville 1, Holland 0 – Class C Second Round
HOLLAND, NY — With one minute left in regulation, there was nothing to split the No. 5 seed Portville boys soccer team and No. 4 seed Holland.
That was until Conner Roulo, on an assist from John Neeson, popped up in the right place at the right time and rippled the back of the Dutchmen net with less than 45 seconds left on the clock.
The goal helped move Portville onto the Section 6 Class C Semifinal, where they will face No. 1 seed Wilson.

Girls: Allegany-Limestone – INC
Boys: Allegany-Limestone – 10th
BEMUS POINT, NY — The Allegany-Limestone boys cross country team placed 10th at the CCAA Championship Meet behind another top-10 performance from Nolan Wilczewski.
Placing ninth with a time of 17:02, Wilczewski was the first Gator across the line. Other finishers for A-L included Aiden Grimes (114th place, 23:46), Ronin Haseley (124th place, 25:16), John Thomas (131st place, 26:25) and Jacob Thomas (136th place, 36:12).
The A-L girls team posted an incomplete score, but still finished with three top-25 individual finishers. Abby Higgins was the first across the line for the girls team, placing 20th with a time of 21:26. Behind her Elexa Duggan placed 22nd with a time of 21:32, Lila Sheehy took 23rd place with a time of 21:39 and Aralyn Jennings placed 54th with a 23:42 time.
