Thomas J. Sibley, 65, of Kill Buck, NY died Monday morning, October 20, 2025 at home following a long illness.
Born March 20, 1960 in Salamanca, NY, he was the son of the late Claude Halsaver and Nancy Confer. He was married March 20, 2003 to the former Ann Fitzgerald, who survives.
Tom had been employed a cashier at Save-A-Lot, the former Hotel Dudley, had been an assistant manager at the former Uni-Mart, all in Salamanca, and had also worked at the former King’s Market in Great Valley.
He was a member of the Kill Buck Volunteer Fire Company for over 20 years and served on the Kill Buck Fire Commission for several years. He was an avid Buffalo Bills and Washington Commanders fan.
Surviving besides his wife are: four daughters, Patricia Sibley, Kimberly Sibley, both of Watertown, NY, Katelin Sutton, Salamanca, NY, Kaylee Sibley, Kill Buck, NY; two sons, Thomas Sibley Jr., Anthony Fitzgerald Sibley, both of Kill Buck, NY; four granddaughters, Brianna, Makayla, Anna, and Ava Sibley, all of Watertown, NY; a grandson, Dylan Flath, Watertown, NY; four sisters, Linda Halsaver, NC, Melody Halsaver, Salamanca, NY, Pam Boatright, KS, Anita Ryder, MS; two brothers, Claude Halsaver II, MI, Steven Halsaver, IN; several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by a grandson, Jacob Sibley, and a sister, Susan Confer.
There will be no visitation.
A Celebration of Life will be held at the convenience of the family and will be announced.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the O’Rourke & O’Rourke Inc Funeral Home, 25 River Street, Salamanca, NY.
