Annie M. Gilbert, 87, formerly of the Emery Towers, Bradford, passed away on Thursday, October 16, 2025 at the Bradford Ecumenical Home.
She was born on July 5, 1938 in Campbeltown, Scotland, a daughter of the late Daniel and Jesse Coffield McKenzie.
She attended schools in Campbeltown.
Annie had an artistic side that she expressed through painting and drawing. She enjoyed playing cards and bingo and she especially enjoyed getting dressed up and going shopping.
She is survived by one son, Michael (Robin) Gilbert of Bradford; one daughter, Ann (Ed) Compton of Mt. Jewett; one sister, Rita Duncan of Scotland; four grandchildren, Tayler, Sabrina, Heather and Kori; five great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents; she was also preceded in death by two brothers and one sister.
A celebration of Annie’s life will be announced at a later date.
