SHINGLEHOUSE, PA – Adding another sweep to their record, the Port Allegany volleyball team earned their 16th win of the season with a road victory against Oswayo Valley, besting the Lady Green Wave 25-16, 25-17 and 25-7.
Lily Lehmier had a team-high 21 kills along with six aces and three digs while her sister Isla Lehmier ran the floor with 34 assists and four aces. Brynn Evens had four aces and five kills alongside Peyton Gordon’s eight kills and two blocks.
Bradford 3, St. Marys 1
BRADFORD, PA – Despite finding a battle late, the Lady Owls defended their home court with a win over the Lady Dutch.
Bradford came out strong with wins in the first two sets at 25-16 and 25-19. However, St. Marys’ gradual offense took hold in the third, winning 27-25 to stay alive and avoid a sweep. Yet their efforts would be in vain, as the Lady Owls snapped back with a 25-22 win to end the night.
Haley Keane led the Lady Owls with 17 kills and four blocks while Emma Pilon and Addison Carter had 15 and 14 kills, respectively. Aliya Coringnani ended with 48 assists, also tallying four kills.
Boys Soccer
Pine Valley/Gowanda 3, Salamanca 2, OT
PINE VALLEY, NY – After holding a 2-0 lead heading into halftime, the Warriors witnessed the Panthers storm back, eventually forcing overtime before sealing the comeback win in post-regulation play.
With the loss Salamanca drops to 1-7 in CCAA Division I play and 1-13 overall.

SALAMANCA, NY – Posting 36 personal bests, the Warriors added another dominating win to their season.
Knyleigh Wass led the charge for Salamanca with a new Top 10 addition in the 100 backstroke, also taking gold in the 100 fly. Charli Ross also doubled in the 100 free and 100 breast stroke.
The Warriors had six times that stand as Section VI Class C Sectional qualifications, starting with Lily John winning her first ever individual race in the 50 free, finishing sub-30 seconds at 29.72. Addison Follman won the 200 IM, qualifying for Sectionals alongside Ella Martens in the same heat.
Alexa Reed took four seconds off her 200 free time, producing a Sectional berth while Makenna McCormick entered with a win in the 100 back.
