BRADFORD, PA – Seeing the Lady Chucks for the second time this season, the Lady Owls were able to complete the season sweep on their home court.
Bradford opened the game with two big wins in the first two sets, coming away with a 25-16 and 25-9 victory. While Punxsy snapped back with a 25-21 win in the third, Bradford finished off the night with a 25-10 win in set No. 4.
Haley Keane continued to dominate at the net, tallying four blocks to go with her 23 kills. Addison Carter had 11 kills on the night while Aliya Corignani had two blocks and 39 assists.
Port Allegany 3, Smethport 0
SMETHPORT, PA – Facing their seventh North Tier League opponent in a row, the Lady Gators picked up their twelfth win of the season with a sweep of the Lady Hubbers.
Jenna Renner led Port with 16 kills, also recording one ace and three digs alongside Mady Errick’s 19 digs and four kills. Lily Lehmier recorded seven kills, 10 digs and a team-high seven aces while her sister Isla Lehmier came away with two aces and 30 assists.

DUKE CENTER, PA – Picking up another win as they continue to dominate the NTL, the Lady Terrors brought another win to the Terror dome with a sweep of Cam Co.
O-E took clean wins in each set they faced, winning 25-17, 25-15 and 25-18. Rayel Hakes picked up 15 points, 12 digs, six kills and a block while Baylee Francis came away with 11 points, 10 digs, nine kills and one block. Ayla Van Scoter tallied seven kills, six points and five digs alongside Emma Button’s 25 assists and six digs.

Fredonia 3, Olean 2
FREDONIA, NY – Suffering their fourth loss in a row, the Huskies fell to 0-3 in CCAA Division I play and 1-5 on the season.
Scoring from Fredonia came early, as the Hillbilly’s picked up two first-half scores from Sam Pietro and Ryan Koopman. They would tack on one more to secure the win in the 49th minute, with Pietro scoring off an assist from Neshwan Arif.
Girl’s Soccer
Wellsville 4, Port United 0
WELLSVILLE, NY – Crossing into the Empire State, the Lady Gators picked up their sixth loss of the season via shutout at the hands of the Lions.
Hannah Taylor ended with 14 saves for Port.
Girls Tennis
Salamanca 4, Jamestown 1
SALAMANCA, NY – Picking up their first win since 2020, the Warriors were able to celebrate both the victory and their seniors as they defeated the Eagles.
Sage Huff started the night with a win at third singles in straight sets. Emelia Prey and Betsy Leyva demonstrated their will to win by forcing a third set, finding themselves down but never out. Second doubles partners, Fiona McKune and Morgan Palmer, both 8th graders, picked up their first ever career wins. Delaney Jordan and Mya Woods fell in the third set after a grueling back and forth match at first doubles. Both girls put up a great fight with outstanding volley points and focused net play.
Salamanca now looks to close out the regular season with another win, playing Olean on Tuesday.
Swimming and Diving
Salamanca 142, Chautauqua Lake 32
Behind three Warriors claiming their first individual varsity wins, Salamanca took home their fourth win of the season, beating Chautauqua Lake.
The trio of first timers were Alexa Reed in the 200 free, Makenna McCormick in the 100 backstroke and Lori Prince in the 500 free, all posting personal best times. Other winners for the Warriors were Julianna Smith with a double win in the 100 fly and 100 breast while the 200 medley relay of Paiten Wilder, Ross, Kynleigh and Ava Chriss, the 200 free relay team of Ella Martens, Addison Follman, Ari Acosta and Reed, and the 400 free relay quartet of Lily John, Pierce, Reed and Wass.
Salamanca improves to 4-2 on the season and 4-1 in league play.
WOMENS SOCCER
Davidson 2, St. Bonaventure 1
DAVIDSON, NC – Two second half goals from Davidson sank the St. Bonaventure women’s soccer team’s hopes of notching its first Atlantic 10 win of the season.
With the sides seemingly set to enter halftime scoreless, Hannah Walker put the Bonnies in front with her first goal of the campaign. With the assist coming from Nayelle Heredia, Walker’s goal was the difference at the break.
However, not long after the intermission, the Wildcats pulled themselves level with a goal from Sophia Whiddon.
The sides remained deadlocked, once again, for a long period of time. It took another 23 minutes of game action before SJ Pak, on an assist from Dakota Lyons, scored the winner for the hosts.
