ERIE, PA – The Bradford girl’s soccer team fell back to 0.500 with their second shutout loss of the season, dropping at the hands of McDowell, 3-0.

Coming off of an 8-1 win over Brockway on Thursday, Bradford looked to keep the ball rolling against one of the premiere teams on their schedule. In what would have been a stress test for a rebuilding squad, the Lady Owls were unable to find the back of the net, suffering their second loss of the season.

Starting in goal for Bradford, Maddy Stark came away with four saves while her replacement, Adeline Meyer ended with two.

WOMEN’S COLLEGE SOCCER

Cleveland State 1, St. Bonaventure 0

CLEVELAND, OH — After having held Cleveland State scoreless for a grand majority of the game, St. Bonaventure suffered a heart-breaking loss after conceding in the 88th minute.

The Vikings had the majority of offensive opportunities in the game, out-shooting the Bonnies by a 20-8 margin. Granted, just eight of those shots from the hosts wound up being on-target.

Mayra Sesmas was the difference-maker for Cleveland State as her low, driven shot found the bottom corner of the Bona net.

The goal was the only blemish on St. Bonaventure goalkeeper Juliana Castellano’s record, who made seven saves over the course of the contest to keep her side in it.

VOLLEYBALL

Otto-Eldred 3, Oswayo Valley 0

DUKE CENTER, PA – Opening their season with back-to-back North Tier League contests, the Lady Terrors came away with two wins, beating Oswayo Valley on Saturday via clean sweep.

O-E dominated in their return to the Terror Dome, starting the day with a 25-11 set one win before finishing the sweep with 25-12 and 25-13 victories.

Jahden Smith came away with five aces throughout the win, also recording 11 service points, four kills and four digs. Rayel Hakes also ended with five aces alongside her 14 kills and 10 digs while Remy McDivitt closed out the Lady Terrors win with 19 service points, three aces and three kills.
