Michael A. McKinney, 46, of Salamanca, NY died Monday, August 11, 2025 at UPMC Hamot, Erie, PA following a long illness.

Born October 22, 1978 in Summersville, WV, he was the son of the late Earl and Lucy Chriss McKinney.

He was a graduate of Randolph Children’s Home School, Class of 1996.

Mike had been employed at the former Parkview Supermarket prior to his disability.

He enjoyed the outdoors, hunting and fishing, he was a video game enthusiast, and will be remembered for his love of family and being able to put smiles on people’s faces.

Surviving are: his ex-wife, Cori McKinney, Salamanca, NY; two daughters, Emilee Delity, Salamanca, NY, Helen Aldrich, PA; three sons, Aaron Rose, Kennedy, NY, Nicholas Delity, Salamanca, NY, Kasey Ellis, Salamanca, NY; four sisters; two brothers; four grandchildren.

He was predeceased by a brother.

A Celebration of Life will be held in Allegany State Park on Friday, September 5, 2025 from 1 – 3 p.m. Please bring a dish to pass.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the O’Rourke & O’Rourke Inc Funeral Home, 25 River Street, Salamanca, NY.
