OLEAN — StrOlean returns to Downtown Olean Saturday from 10 a.m.-6 p.m., with more than 70 arts and crafts and other vendors along the 100 block of North Union Street.

Downtown traffic will be diverted around North Union Street to accommodate StrOlean. It’s the region’s largest downtown festival.

Seven food trucks plus 30 brick and mortar businesses — including Downtown restaurants — are involved in the event presented by the Greater Olean Area Chamber of Commerce. The GOACC member food trucks open at 11 a.m.

There will be live performances by Generations and Those Guys starting at noon. Sol Epoxy is sponsoring a beverage tent for 21 and over from noon to 5 p.m.

There’s a Children’s Area that is new to StrOlean this year. It’s a free kids activity tent that open at 10 a.m., with hands-on fun for kids.

The activities include:

  • Face Painting by Belle and Glitter & Giggles Face Painting.
  • Planting station with Serenhippity.
  • Nature craft with Pfeiffer Nature Center.
  • Enormous inflatable obstacle course courtesy of Christ United Methodist Church.
  • Traditional bounce house courtesy of Christ United Methodist Church.
  • Cotton candy, courtesy of Christ United Methodist Church.
  • Pony Rides by Mountain Rose Farm are also available for $5 – starting at noon.
