Beverly A. (Smith) Cutre, 78, of Great Valley, NY, formerly of Buffalo, NY, died Wednesday, July 23, 2025 at Olean General Hospital following a long illness.
Born October 12, 1946 in Buffalo, NY, she was married in Clarence, NY in 1978 to Joseph D. Cutre Jr., who survives.
Beverly had been employed as a Union Secretary with General Motors, Tonawanda, NY for over 25 years, retiring in 2014.
She loved animals, especially dachshunds and was an avid donor to animal causes. She enjoyed the outdoors and gardening, especially her koi fish pond, going out to eat with her husband, especially lobster, and was a Buffalo Bills fan.
Friends may call at the O’Rourke & O’Rourke Inc. Funeral Home, 25 River Street, Salamanca, NY on Tuesday, July 29, 2025 from 11am – 12pm followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at Holy Name of Mary RC Church, Ellicottville, NY at 1pm with Rev. Charles Johnson officiating.
Burial will be in Green Cemetery, Great Valley, NY.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be made to the Cattaraugus County SPCA, 2944 Route 16, Olean, NY 14779.
