OLEAN, NY — Cattaraugus County FC was left still in search of its first win of the campaign after falling 3-0 to Polonia Legacy.
Sustained sequences of possession were hard to come by for CCFC, who spent the majority of the affair attempting to repel their guests’ repetitive attacks. And much to their dismay, the dam eventually broke as Polonia netted two goals before the intermission.
The visitors managed to net another goal before the game’s end, but a significant amount of credit must be given to the CCFC defense as they endured 16 shots on target throughout the affair.
Cattaraugus County FC’s next chance to get their first tally in the win column will come on July 6, when they hit the road to face Buffalo United SS at Buffalo State’s Coyer Field with kickoff slated for 8 p.m.
