OLEAN — In both games of their double-header, the explosive offense of Big Ol’ Hitt. overpowered the more consistent offense of the Benchwarmers. 

In the back-and-forth, high scoring first game of the double-header, Big Ol’ Hitt. managed to just about keep their noses in front of the Benchwarmers, collecting their second win of the season.

Quinton Jordan and Mike Keis each went 4-for-5 in the win. They were supported by Brandi Buttino, Jared Mault and Ashley Erskine who each went 3-for-5.

For the Benchwarmers, Cody Clark, Cody Giberson and Joe Kenyon each finished 3-for-4.

In the second game, Big Ol’ Hitt. managed to record 14 runs in the first two frames. The Benchwarmers managed to cut their deficit to just seven before their opposition’s offense came to life again, scoring seven more runs in the fifth inning and putting the game on ice.

Jared Mault went 4-for-4 in the game-two win. Behind him, Mike Keis went 3-for-5 while Erin Bell, Ashley Erskine, Quinton Jordan and Frank Buttino finished 3-for-4.

Cody Giberson went 4-for-4 while Joe Kenyon and Cody Clark went 3-for-4 in the loss.

Parkwood 13, Cleats and Cleav. 1

OLEAN — Scoring seven runs in the first inning, Parkwood got off to a hot start in its eventual five-inning, run-rule win over Cleats and Cleav.

Jared Killner led Parkwood, finishing 3-for-3 in the contest. Ryan Carney and Teagan Kosinski each went 2-for-3 while Hayleigh Federowicz and Brandon McGreger went 2-for-2.

Molly Kate and John Fusiara each recorded two hits in the loss.

Parkwood 28, Rookies/716 1

OLEAN — In its four-run win, Parkwood was led by Ty Kosinski, who finished 4-for-4 with a double. Behind him, Ryan Carney, Brett Bizzaro, Hayleigh Federowicz and Trevor Claypool each went 3-for-4 while Alyssa Ramarge went 3-for-3.
