Olean, NY — Beat City Music and the Tri-County Arts Council, along with Christie Brook( Christie’s Boutique) and a growing number of uptown businesses are teaming up to present a First Friday Art Walk on Friday, June 6, from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. in uptown Olean. This free community event will celebrate the region’s vibrant arts and music scene, welcoming visitors to stroll, listen, and explore.
Live music coordinated by Beat City Music will fill the streets outside of several local businesses, including:

- Beat City Music
- ASK Design Jewelers
- Christie’s Boutique
- Kaleidoscope Boutique and Gallery
- Tri-County Arts Council
- RocketCup Coffee Company
- For Crafts Sake
- Union Whiskey
- Beef ‘n’ Barrel
In addition to musical performances, local artist and event coordinator Mikel Wintermantel will help showcase visual artwork in a variety of genres, stretching from the Tri-County Arts Council gallery to Beat City Music. Artists of all mediums will be featured, offering a unique opportunity to meet the makers behind the art.

Organizers hope to draw residents and visitors uptown for a relaxed, art-filled summer evening while gauging interest in future events that support the creative economy in the Southern Tier.
