Olean- Barbara Jean Williams “Loving Wife, Mother & Grandmother”

Barbara J. Williams of 514 N 6th street, passed away on Tuesday, May 6, 2025 at her home following a courageous battle with cancer.

Barbara was born March 3, 1956 in Olean and was the daughter of Lester and Geneva Stevens Knowlton. On November 1, 1975 in the Haskel Church she married Frank A. Williams who survives.

Barbara drove school bus and tour bus for Blue Bird and also Laidlaw and loved doing crafts.

Along with her loving husband of almost 50 years, Frank, Barbara is survived by; a son, Scott B. (Barbara Jimenez) Rossingnol of Carpentersville, IL; a step daughter, Margaret (Shane) Walker of Conway, SC; 7 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; 3 siblings, Marcella (Roy) Brown of Port Allegany, PA, Loraine Knowlton of Olean and Willard Knowlton of Jamestown; and several nieces and nephews.

Barbara was predeceased by; her parents; a daughter, Tracy Hurd; 2 brothers, Ken and Pete Knowlton; 3 sisters, Mary Elliott, Margaret Larkan, Jane Champlin; an infant sister and an infant brother.

Services will be held at a date and time to be announced. Arrangements are under the direction of the Letro-McIntosh-Spink Funeral Home, Inc., 646 E. State St., Olean. Online condolences may be made at www.letromcintoshspinkfuneralhome.com
