November 23, 1943 – April 25, 2025
Cattaraugus – Sharon M. Camilloni, lovingly known as Sherry, of Cattaraugus, NY, passed away peacefully on Friday, April 25, 2025, at Buffalo General Hospital. She was 81. Born on November 23, 1943, she was the daughter of the late Norma Kustreba.
Sherry had a rare gift for turning the ordinary into something beautiful. What started in her garage grew into One of a Kind, a high-end gift boutique on the main street of Ellicottville, NY, which she operated for many years.
She loved her music—Frank Sinatra, disco, and especially “Me and Mrs. Jones.” Even in her later years, you could find her dancing in the kitchen with her little Bluetooth speaker. She lived for sunny days in the garden, a fresh coat of paint on the porch, and a cold Coca-Cola after mowing the lawn (sometimes three times a week, even into her late seventies).
Her greatest joy was her family—her daughter and grandson, who were always at the center of everything she did. Through all of life’s ups and downs, Sherry lived by one simple rule: as long as you keep a sense of humor, you’ll be alright.
She is survived by her beloved daughter, Cara Camilloni (Thomas Livak), and grandson, Jeremy Camilloni.
She is predeceased by her mother, Norma, and her husband, Mark Herman.
Private family services will be held.
Burial will be in Liberty Park Cemetery.
Arrangements are under the direction of Mentley Funeral Home Inc., 411 Rock City St. in Little Valley.
