May 7, 1941 – April 19, 2025

Stewart Wayne Arnold, 83, of Green Valley, AZ, formerly of Kennedy NY, passed away peacefully Saturday, April 19th at home with his family.

He was born May 7, 1941 in Randolph, NY, the son of the late Stewart E and Dorothy A Arnold. He was a 1959 graduate of Randolph Central School.

In his younger years, he worked for Gold Star Market, Marlin Rockwell, and Dowcraft. He then worked as a Union Carpenter prior to starting his own construction company, Arnold Construction, from which he retired in 2003. In early years he was active with the Cub Scouts in Kennedy. He was also a past member of Kennedy Fire Dept., the Loyal Order of Moose, and Carpenters Union Local 66.

Wayne was a true gentleman. If you were fortunate enough to know him, you experienced his kind manner, easy going style, along with his intellect and wit. A country boy at heart, Wayne could be found at Happy Hour, enjoying a cold beer and laughs with friends. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle and listening to his music. Never missed watching a Bills game and always made time to cheer for the Yankees. Developing into a University of Arizona fan, he and Pam enjoyed rooting for local sports.

Wayne was a kind and humble man, who had a signature handsome smile that his beloved wife of 62 years, Pamela, adored. In addition to Pam, whom he married August 6, 1963, he is survived by son, David (Linda) Arnold, daughter Sandra (Tim) Mead, grandchildren Gavin, Alex and Julia Mead, sisters Judy Brown and Sharon Berg, several nieces, nephews and an extended loving family.

He was preceded in death by his parents and infant twin sons. The family would like to thank Agape Hospice.

The family will have a visitation gathering at a later date from the VanRensselaer & Son Funeral Home, 14 Church Street, Randolph, N, and will be announced later. Burial will be in the Myrtle Cemetery in Kennedy, NY.
