Joan Sweet, 89, born in Olean and long-time resident of East Aurora, passed away peacefully Saturday (April 19, 2025).
The family finds comfort that she was at peace and rejoined with her parents. Joan had a long and wonderful life, and her family is grateful for the time they had with her.
Survived by her loving family, a nephew Daniel Sweet and his children Dan, Tim, Jen, and Luke; a niece Denise Sweet and her daughter, Nicole and grand-niece Cheyenne, and a niece Dana Sweet and her husband Tom Fitz-Simon and their son, Shawn. Always and Forever, We Love You, Aunt Joan.
No funeral services are being scheduled. Joan will be laid to rest with her parents in Pleasant Valley Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of the Casey, Halwig and Hartle Funeral Home, Olean.
