OLEAN — The Olean softball team continued its dominant start in league play with a 13-0, five-inning shutout over Dunkirk.

The Huskies have now managed to outscore their opponents 26-1 over its last two games, the first of which was a 13-1 win over Salamanca which opened their CCAA Div. I account for the season. And just like in the game against the Warriors, the Olean offense was efficient and effective against the Marauders.

The Huskies combined for 14 hits on the night, the most of which were tallied by Emma Edwards, who went 3-for-3 with two runs, two RBI and a walk. Anna Bates (2-for-4 run, RBI), Alaina Hirliman (2-for-4, 2 runs, RBI), Allison Anastasia (2-for-4, run) and Mallory Carter (2-for-2, 2 runs, 2 RBI) each had multi-hit nights in the winning effort as well.

Edwards continued her great night in the circle, pitching all five innings, striking out eight and walking just one in the process.
